Pete, what about allies? Do they have to be from book 2 as well or not?

As we did not set a date range and to keep things simple let's stick to all lists and any allies from Book 2 please.

Players For Roll Call
Philip Jelley X
Lynda Fairhurst
David Fairhurst
Steve Murton
Keith Pullen
Terry Shaw X
Dave Ruddock
Peter Card
Graham Briggs X
Phil Powell
David Bannister X
Jon Akers X
JOHN PATRICK X
David Morrison X

X means no list received yet, which is odd for Jon, John and Dave M as I have already got their Campaign lists. Obviously too much choice

Dave Ruddock has checked my list

I'm liking the look of all those Nikeforians. North Africans could be tricksy. Norse Irish could take a lot of killing.... But not as much as the Sciri ....

Be interesting to see the two Sassanids to see how similar they are. I'm assuming mine will be miles better than Terry's. If not and I play him I'll just have to rely on dice.

Palmyran likely to be a tough opponent, I will run over the Anglo Danish. Nofun Kara will be wall to wall bowmen... Or a large target as we refer to them as.

Can't see anything going wrong :)

OK, lets see considering for the past couple of years it's been Dave Sidestep Ruddock as you desperately avoid my armies

Let us just hope that the person carrying out the draw does so in a fair and consistent manner.

Now, let me think... Who is going to be doing the draw?

Relying on your dice seems to be your only tactic (although it does seem to work !)

Then the chances are it's not sufficiently feature-rich yet.

A re-draw prior to the competition beginning.... Caused by Phil Jelley's club being incorrect.

Code: Select all

2 David Bannister (Tibetan) v Keith Pullen (Muslim North Africa)
3 Lynda Fairhurst (Palmyran) v Phil Powell (Anglo Danish)
4 Graham Briggs (Anglo Irish) v John Patrick (Nikeforian Byzantine)
5 Dave Ruddock (Sassanid Persian) v Dave Morrison (Nikeforian Byzantine)
6 Jon Akers (Kofun Nara) v Peter Card (Nikeforian Byzantine)
7 Phil Jelley (Muslim North Africa) v Steve Murton (Nikeforian Byzantine)

David Fairhurst's army should read "Eastern German - Sciri"
