When can we expect the promo code for the venue?
Given the deteriorating exchange rate every $ counts! But keen to get it booked before anyone changes their mind again!

What was the accommodation cost inc. taxes, etc?
Total was just over $500 for 3 nights which feels expensive but is at the venue.
Still just a reservation at this stage and have an open mind if anyone wants to suggest sharing self-catering or similar with a clean living wargamer?

Venue isn't looking an attractive place to stay to me
Fundamentally, IMO, you don't stay in the room long enough to justify that as you're mainly out playing toy soldiers, drinking, etc.

A reasonable point. The advantage to staying at the venue is that one need not stagger far to find one's game, drink, or bed. This can prove to be a clever thing on occasion.

eh? Do you mean you have to do this 72 hours prior to leaving? I just did this know and some fool has given me license to travel to the U.S. until 2011...
