I'm somewhat gutted that I can't make it - but the exchange rate just makes the ero-zone a bit too much at present with my other commitments. One day I'll make a comp in France

I attended this event two years back and had a great time also my first time in the south of France. The Mardi Gras in Nice was following the event.

Hi Gilles
Are we still doing themed competition or has it gone to an open one. I need to get my list in but this will be decided on your choice.

Hi Neil ,
we will do a themed tournament ;
ancient and medieval separated of course
to explain my views to all
we will have 4 different nations, 20 players ofr the moment
my choice to make the pairings wil normally as follows :
historical pairing when possible ( I like )
players from different country with different player of other countries
cumulation of the points of victory
and overall plaisant games in friendly ambiance ;
I hope you will like it
see you soon
Cheers

Me thinks the home team has the advantage in the opening match, a bit like Stade de France
