Holiday season?

What is the minimum to be viable at Britcon Tim?
And out of interest who are the new ones?

6 allows a round-robin and a playoff (or a more relaxed 5 round schedule!), but 8 is a better number for a 6 round event
It’s the 2 Fredericks from Sweden.
The dates for Britcon have t changed in over a decade so holidays are unlikely to be a factor..

No, cost and time commitment.

We're currently sitting at 6 entrants for Britcon, which allows for a viable competition. However, it would be nice to get at least a couple more, so please get your entries in if you fancy a weekend of gaming in Manchester.

When is the closing date for entries?

The day before the event if we’re on odd numbers, otherwise a little before that if not!

probably a bit academic for me really as it doesn't look like it'll fit in for me anyway

We're now on 7, with Lynette joining the fray... clearly an 8th would be very welcome (even for part of the weekend)

Would that be Determined Giraffes or Light Giraffes, Impact/Sword?
Either will do - line of sight is fantastic on both.

Does artillery on an elephant allow you to fire over friendly troops?

The list deadline is fast approaching. It's next Wednesday, 1st August. So far I have 1 (thank you Keith!) and I'be grateful to get the rest ASAP so I can publish the R&R.
Simon - the answer is NO!!! Unless of course the normal conditions for overhead shooting are met. Elephants are big but they are smaller than hills.

what about if the elephant is behind the crest of the hill?
Does this count as "trunk down"

OK folks, due to unforseen circumstances we're back to 6.
Unless there is anyone else out there lurking for a very late entry, I'm inclined to lock down the numbers at they are with 6 as that makes running the event as a "round robin+1" event a lot cleaner than if we end up at 7
Any lurkers still considering it ?
