Good to see you to be so eager, compliment for that. It's fine with me, as this campaign is just the framework to set 8 guys fight each other in 4 different custom battles each year. It takes extra time to sort out who fights who. Compared to the time a custom battle takes ( 14 days I estimate ) gives the campaign something a round robin sytem does not have. Your faction for example could have also a civil war, in that case the 1st Roman/Gallic war has to wait for future years.

You can start a civil war with an already chosen faction except Pontic, or play as Thrace or Illyria.
Syracuse does not match Geographical with the other factions, it was a suggestion from another player.

Or it is the 1st Greek/Macedonian war against Nikiforosfokas.

I hope that those first wars are concluded before 9 december. If the fight is not concluded at that date. Inform us what turn the battle is at that moment.

MIke, the romans and the gauls did start battle...i suggest we might just continue on with it...as it will give us more time to finish. everyone cool with that then? if not, we hardly started so no big deal.

the gauls are slated to fight the seleucids...so i'm good to start that one too...Aryaman, how about you set it up....i'll choose mountains, so it is up to you to make it mnts , or hills. let me know when its up and the PW.

Let me jump in here. We have in the 1st year of our Rise of .... campaign.
1st Pontic civil war between North and South Pontic
1st Greek/Roman war
1st Macedonian/Thracian war
1st Gallic/Seleucid war

Illyria can be attacked by 3 player generals, I command their armies, I wish mountains as terrain.
The Pontic Generals and Greece have priority in starting such a minor war besides their war mentioned above.
If they decide to pass the next faction can step in to start an extra war this year. In the following order.

1 N Pontic
2 S Pontic
3 Greek
4 Roman
5 Macedon
6 Gallic
7 Seleucid
8 Thrace
9 (Illyria) minor

Greece has never shied from a challenge...

Greece sends her Second Army into Illyria.

We would nominate an agricultural map so I believe we end up with a compromise of (hopefully not too many!) hills.

I will create the map (Large/Wide/Med Hilly) if you like.
