A fitting way to end the tourney. Thanks to the other players and particularly fogman, for creating these fun and educative scenarios. The Mongol vs Mamluk clashes had huge importance for world history, but hardly anyone, even committed medieval wargamers, know the first thing about them.

Looks like it might be the end for FOG v.1 now. Sic transit gloria mundi. I certainly got my money's worth from it! Here's hoping FOG II lives up to the greatness of its predecessor.

Not quite yet, at least not until FOG II encompasses all periods FOG I now covers. Even then, there's no replacing FOG I for simple yet engrossing game dynamics. I'm afraid FOG II's game play will turn out like Pike and Shot's: ponderous.

I fear the editor will be the same horror as in PaS. In Fog 1 a scenario is done in minutes, in PaS it takes endless and you have to learn to much.
