Hi Eric
I am having problems moving on in the Blitzkrieg 39-40 campaign 2.0, Poznan scenario.
I get a victory at turn 10, but don't move on, I get the Pacific Theatre Map (empty) and then nothing else.
BTW I am a new OOB player, moving on from Panzer Corps, and I have to say it takes some getting used too.
I am playing your campaign before even finishing the vanilla one (I like long campaigns, i played GTPG about 6 times

)
BTW, All I want for Christmas is........
SEALION
Thanx and Greets from Virginia.

Im also having trouble on Piatek mission. I hold and defend all objectives, but get a loss...
The same thing happened in the last mission eventhough I held all objectives, but I guess I only got a minor win/loss there since I could continue.

Dumb question -- how to install? I get a zipped folder -- I know all of it goes in OOB somehow, but without an installer not sure where. Thanks in advance.

Extract the campaign folder from the zipped file. Locate the Campaigns folder in your Documents/My Games/Order of Battle - WW2 folder (that's on a Windows PC; I don't know where it is on a Mac). Move the campaign folder into Documents/My Games/Order of Battle - WW2 folder/Campaigns. When you start OOB, click "Custom content" on the Campaigns tab. Blitzkrieg 1939-40 may show up automatically but if you have other campaigns loaded, you may need to use the horizontal arrows to select it. NOTE: This is not the official DLC also called Blitzkrieg which you must purchase and install separately.

Man, thanks a million! I should have mentioned I have ALL the games installed. Your explanation was like a Christmas gift -- now I can play something during this weekend. Regards and happy holidays!

Hi Eric,
In the Piatek scenario I am unable to win as if I defend all the objectives than I loose (they do not change from blue to green).
If I let the computer take those objectives and retake them they turn to green (acomplished) with the exception of Piatek. And the campaign ends...
The same happens in the Lodz scenario with Lodz and Sieradz. So I cannot have there major victory but it was possible to move to next scenario...

ctrl+c and #igotnukes helps if you get stuck in the end of a mission. Otherwise, you have to wait for Eric's next update.

Hi Horst,
What do you mean by: ctrl+c and #igotnukes ? shall I type it somewhere ? If yes where - please describe how to use this ...
Thanks in advance.

Its shift+c and a small console opens up. Just read it somewhere else.

Oh, yes. It's shift+c for the (cheat) console. I often press all three keys as ctrl is also sometimes used for the console in games.
By the way, I've already wrote in the scenario forum about a couple of problems until 6Kampinoska. On Kampinoska, the trains will escape right from start no matter if your units come close as 2 hexes near them, so you will most likely not accomplish this secondary objective.

Just started the 1940 missions and I have way to much prestige (4800+) and tons of units with all the free AA, artillery and inf from Warzaw, Denmark and Norway. I got all the prestige in Norway and Denmark, maybe because they are too big and long. I´m afraid it´ll ruin the balance for the further missions.

WarHomer, did you only use the regular replacements or also elite ones?
I always struggle for requisition points at beginning of campaigns, but when your finally gathered enough units, especially aircrafts and artillery, you suddenly get more points than you can spend. At this point, I'm still too stingy though to use elite-replacements as I'm afraid I can't afford later the many upgrades. This was somehow rarely the problem in Panzer Corps as you had to pay only the cost difference for series upgrades. It's a pity you can't restrict experience in OOB per campaign. I was already afraid it could become too easy with too many 5-star units later what is easily possible with artillery and aircrafts, and also tanks if you are careful, in no time.
Eric, have you already uploaded a version with the updated triggers? I'd love to continue this campaign after vanilla Blitzkrieg.

I have updated Blitzkrieg 39-40.
There are major adjustments to the campaign file and minor ones to most scenarios.
The campaign file is set up with all Sea Lion scenarios although only about half of them are currently finished.
The theory is that any new scenario may be copied to the Blitzkrieg/scenario folder and the player should be able to continue from a save-game file. In theory...
As for generous resources. The intention is that players repair using elite resources and constantly upgrade their equipment.

I am thinking of running for president of your fan club. Please keep up the good work, which is profoundly appreciated, and Happy New Year!

Thanks.
Running for president is a murky business these days, not recommended

Vanilla Blitzkrieg is over for me, now continues the real, grand Blitzkrieg from you, Eric. Cheers!

Horst, I always use elite replacement for core units and always play on highest difficulty. I do try to soften up the enemy with arty and air before attacking, so as not to suffer to high casualties. I rarely attack if it looks like I will suffer more than 1-2 losses.
I´m afraid it´s the long Norway mission (and perhaps Denmark). In Norway I had achieved all objectives by turn 22-24 and had broken the Allies thoughroughly (except at sea, but the British fleet couldn´t/wouldn´t touch me on land).

I've just recently played through Denmark which gave too many coins for rarely battles. The 60 turns in Norway looks monstrous. I can imagine that you can gather lots of cash there if you aren't in a hurry. It looks like I had mixed up the scenario order by clicking too much where I'm not suppose to in the campaign screen.
I only play on medium diff with modified stats anyway, but if someone can finish Norway under 30 turns on highest vanilla difficulty then maybe it's best to lower the turn limit. The 40 turns in Denmark was more or less okay.

The 60 turns in Norway is simply the number of days in the historical campaign.
Changing the number of turns is no big deal if it balances the scenario better.
