Not only this but when I uninstalled and reinstalled 2.4.8 it now fails to run. Don't release an update if it has such serious flaws.

You need to provide more details... do you receive any error message? Is the screen black?

Isn't the standard answer to this to delete the game's Settings folder in My Documents? Anyway, the update worked fine for me last night although I again had to "reinstall" every DLC and serial number.

Another thought: If pkane did a complete uninstall/reinstall (including deleting the game's program folder), then there should be no reason why 2.4.8 would not run as it did before. I would first delete the Settings folder with the game off (the game rebuilds the folder when it restarts, with default settings). If that does not do the trick, do a complete uninstall and then reinstall, starting with 2.4.8 first, of course. See if 2.4.8 plays and if it does, then update to 2.9.9 and hope for the best.

I would say that your assumption is correct.

Thanks for newest patch but we are still waiting for SKIN CAMOUFLAGE . I know that is not most important thing but please when can we expect this add?

Just updated to 2.9.9 and the following happened. Zundapp Motorcycle icon not available (gray asking me to buy Heroes of Normandie and I already did that a few weeks ago)
Japanese Grand Campaign icon in gray not able to play it and asking to purchase.
Rising Sun icon in gray not able to play it and asking to purchase.
U.S. Pacific icon in gray not able to play it and asking to purchase.

I have all the modules.

Could you pls help?
Maybe release a hot-fix?

Try "reinstalling" those campaigns, including entering the game keys when prompted. That's what I had to do. Don't worry that the installation files are tagged with previous OOB game versions (such as 225, 238, 248, etc.). Your game will still be version 2.9.9 when you restart it.

On my ither PC i didnt do the upgrade and everything works fine.

Can you try deleting or renaming "serials.dat" from <my documents>\Order of Battle - WW2\Settings\ ?

Also is this the Slitherine or Steam version?

Hi Bru, i recover the DLCS i lost installing them. However I can not get back the Zundapp Motorcycle.
I bought the game through Slitherine and yes I have heroes of Normandy.

I cannot help you with that one, the motorcycle. Perhaps uninstall OOB, uninstall Heroes of Normandie, then reinstall them in the reverse order?
