Bum deal,
I could tell striped_soul would have been a great competitor and Misterno remains a mystery. Uh Oh!

Well thanks for the update, and I will look forward with baited breath for the posting for the final with me and Misterno and the "surprise".

Curiosity is peaked! ;)

Either way I will need to slow down on my multiplayer a little after this tournament as I have not been able to touch single player in like 2 weeks and I am eager to finish the Grand Campaign and I am just starting 1945.

AlbertoC wrote:The striped soul vs misterno match was delayed, sadly, due to real life commitments and couldn't be completed in time.

When I made the original pairings in the first couple of rounds I tried to make it so that people would only face players from the same timezone. Unfortunately, it was inevitable that players with radically different timezones would face each other at some point - this happened here.

Striped soul has real life commitments in a few days and he won't be able to play for a prolonged time. Even if the semifinal was completed and he qualified, he wouldn't be able to take part in the final. We talked by mail, and we agreed that the only possible solution right now is to advance Misterno.

I'm sorry for this outcome, but sometimes events just get in the way. Please feel free to complete the game.

Thank you striped soul for your diligence, your commitment and for always letting me know what was going on. I hope I'll see you again in future tournaments. We all learned from this, and we will be able to use this experience in the next tournament we'll organize.

We have something else in store (wink wink) for the community this week, and with Thanksgiving looming upon us, I want to give you guys some time to rest and relax. The final will be starting next monday.
Hope that i still have a time,to finish my game without surrendering, but whatever result is going to be,Misterno is facing Goose in final :D
Alberto ,but what u decide with Caca,he will take 3rd place, without battle or you will find opponent for him? :)
Once again my apologize,for inconvenience.

Too bad real life intervened. It happens. I can volunteer to play CaCa if you don't have anyone else available. Maybe you could play him! :D

Congrats to all and good luck in the final dudes.

Off course it's up to you,but i think it will be ok, if Caca get 3rd place, after all it was first tournament, and as u may know the first step is always the hardest :)
Now organisation experience achieved,to run future tournaments more smoothly :)
As per me, tournament timeframes should be a little more strict,i mean if there is no any hollydays, events,or other important and resonable things in real life, those players who not able to complete round in right time, should be disqualificated to not drag tournament at all IMHO :)

I am eagerly awaiting the posting for the final match.

I am hoping for at least 2 weeks to complete, especially if it is a big long match up like the last one was, 33 rounds was intense.
