By the community, do you mean the ones who hang around the forums, thus discounting the vast majority of players who actually play the game? What is the ratio of forum nay Sayers to number of original ap sold? Would be interested to know, and I doubt it would be anywhere near a majority. As I said, I purchased the new game, as I have most of your stuff, because I believe in supporting good developers. That said, I can't help thinking that sometimes that support is abused. I wonder, if the game had been updated and people were given the option to make a donation or not, how many of those who dismissed the update option would have donated..

I'm sorry you are unhappy but announced in advance how we were going to do it and not a single person objected. Now its released there is nothing we can do about it and there still seems to be a heavy majority in favour of the new system.

I actually asked about this very issue when Battle Of The Bulge was updated, you assured me that any 'new version' would be counted as as update and no further payment would be required. I took this to mean hat the same would apply to both the other titles from Shenandoah. As I said earlier, I have happily purchased the 'update', but I feel that rather than relying on forum members, who would not make up the majority of players, all purchasers of the game could have been contacted either via the game or via email. Messages to customers via the app are common place on Apple devices.

Yes this is how Bulge works, but the community made it very clear they didn't want that. No there was no way to message anyone in the app. This requires an update for the app which isn't possible, only a replacement of the app was possible.
To be honest its too late to change now anyway so even if you managed to convince the community to change how it wants it (which I doubt) we cant change whats been done.
