The US Marines expansion is not a mod - unlike the Battle of Britain content released a while back. You can find the US marines campaign in the base game, in the campaigns overview panel: click "campaigns" in the main menu, then select the US. Marines icon in the bottom right corner (near Australia).

Again! , I for the Fourth-Time Re-Installed US Marines - v238.exe & in the campaigns overview panel: clicked "campaigns", and Still was UnAble to See the US. Marines icon in the bottom right corner (near Australia).

Does the game version say 2.3.8 at the bottom of the main menu?

NO!, it does not _ The game version indicates Order Of Battle - Pacific (version 2.2.5). Also, when the "Installation" Sequence is taking place, it's over in a second?, I do not see an actual Install-Process take place.

On the game launching screen, can you click the "Check for Update" button in the bottom right. That should download the 2.3.8 patch for you. You need the latest patch to play USM.

1st!, my "Check For Update" always gives this vexing result...

For me..."Check For Update" has never worked!.
Therefore I was unable to get the Pacific Update. However, what I did get was..."OrderOfBattle-USMarines-SetupRelease-v238" & this is what I was attempting to install without any success.

As far as 'Beta-Testing', I was not involved. Presently, thank's to your Link I will download the 'Pacific Update' and install that first before doing the "OrderOfBattle-USMarines-SetupRelease-v238".

Hopefully that will work for you. It is very odd for both the auto-update and the setuprelease to both fail to download & install the patch for you. It sounds like something is wrong with your registry settings or similar. If the patch doesn't work, let us know and we can take a look at that

Usually that means that the update feature is corrupted. In most of the times, the culprit is the anti-virus.

OrderOfBattle-Pacific-UpdateComp-v238 was downloaded & successfully installed!!! _ Hurraahhh!

However, still 'no-positive-change' for the 'My Update' & 'OrderOfBattle US Marines-SetupRelease- v238.exe' _ Both of which are still fully-DisFunctional for me???.

So!, perhap's my Anti-Virus or something else is the underlying culprit to this unfortunate nebulous situation?.

Sunday, I wrestled with my anti-virus software for a couple of hours when attempting to download and install the Morning Sun and U.S. Marines expansions. Finally had to turn the d@mn thing off.

I have ordered and downloaded Order of /Battle: U.S. Marines, but am unable to launch the game.

Please describe the issue. Do you receive any error message? Which game version number are you playing?
