1) You can use shift-click to redeploy a unit to a different location.
2) I place fighters/bombers in different AI-teams and use different unit type targets for the teams. I may even place bombers in different AI-teams if one group is targeting land units and other other naval units.
3) You use a trigger/event to spawn a specific unit at a specific location. You can set a few unit values, but unfortunately not give it a specific name.

Further to my earlier comments about the editor I now have had a deeper look at the full range of features and compared it with Uran`s Manual. Although he addresses Map creation, Alliances, Settings, AI Teams and Mission very well, he stops short of describing the many different features of the Triggers, which is probably the most complex part of the editor and as he says "In order for the objectives to be functional they shoud be defined by triggers" At the moment I am trying to design a Philippine Sea scenario where US primary objectives are 1) Destruction of at least 6 Japanese Carriers, 2) elimination of all land planes on Truk, Rota and Guam and 3) Not to lose more than 4 Carriers. For each of these I have set up Unit triggers for each of the planes and carriers and also defined three variables to count the losses. For each trigger there is Check Scenario Variable and in next column Set Objective State linked to Objective and Set Scenario variable. All triggers are Combat event.Running the scenario the objectives are correct and japanese start moving but then stop and thinking goes on even when red bar is full. I would be very grateful for any help. Thank you.

I suggest you ask these questions in the Scenario forum. The developers will hopefully pick it up.
You can also copy official scenarios from the main game folder (it is somewhere within the ---Data folder) to the Mygames scenario folder.
Open a scenario in the editor and check how the objectives are handled by triggers/events.
That's how I learnt my rudimentary knowledge of the editor.
Many of the triggers/events are basic. Scenario variables etc are not IMO.
