Slitherine

The patch killed my ipad version, can't launch new game or load saved game. In fact, can't get game to work at all now, whereas before I never had any problems. Great patch.

I know with some games they get lack ipad user beta testing so sometimes there are bugs, Slitherine are good with there customers. If you give them time sure there tech guys will read your post and find answer. I suggest keep eye on the forum check in once in while someone will reply soon ok.

The patch was mainly created to deal with some issues that appeared during testing. The firing of certain triggers, which were never attempted in any of the official add-ons, revealed a couple of bugs. As far as we know, those specific bugs have all been solved.

The patch does very little code wise and works fie on our iPads so i suspect something is corrupt. Sometimes the update process fails unfortunately and this is part of the OS that we can't do anything about

Delete it and download it again and see if this helps.

I was just a little disappointed to find I was charged NZ$15.99 buying this through BlueSnap on this site when it would cost me only NZ$11.99 through Steam. As I bought non-Steam versions of ALL the other expansions and campaigns I feel I am being penalised for not being able to buy cheaper through Steam. Not a great reward for a loyal customer, 33% penalty instead of 30% discount!

Anyway, it's still great value and great to see you are continuing to support this series.

Well I can understand your point, but you can use both steam and your own version doing it way you done it.

I can also say those of us that have it on steam only are in bad place if steam remove it from steam or if steam ever closes.

So you are in better position then us with steam only copy. I do hope steam don't shut down or remove panzer corps as it is one my most played games, and personal favourite.

I have to also say at least slitherine are fair company. I seen some silly DLC content at silly prices over years. I also seen lot companies pull dirty stunts on customers. Slitherine seem to actually care are helpful charge fairly and they give there games long life unlike most companies seem to build game do bit with it drop it and not care what customer are still using.

I for one am happy help slitherine stay around and am glad of company like slitherine.

I guess I should've done more research before I bought, but I was in such a hurry to get into it I forgot to compare prices! Maybe I would prefer my post to sound more like a warning to others that there is a cheaper option.

The game is still great value for money IMHO.

More on topic, I would just like to remind people to back up any custom files they may have as when I installed it did a complete rewrite for 1.24 and this wiped my custom equipment file and set it back to vanilla mode.... again I was in too much of a hurry to get playing but at least I had the file backed up.

Steam have a non standard conversion rate. We do a direct conversion so everyone around the world pays the same price in $. Steam have local pricing so some people pay less and there isn't anything we can do about it unfortunately. Sometimes their prices are higher and sometimes lower, it depends how the currencies are currently fluctuating. Their prices are based on some historical value and not the current rate.

OK, I updated my Ipad to Ios 9 (which I had not done before bc of fears of compatibility issues). I then deleted Panzer Corps, rebooted, and then reinstalled Panzer Corps. Game is now working, but of course it torched my saved games. Never had an issue like this with other Panzer Corps patches/updates, and never had this problem with any other company's apps. Something clearly went wrong somewhere with this update.

Like some others, I'm also experiencing an unplayable game after upgrading to 1.24 on the iPad. I am on iOS 5.1.1. The update loads and installs, but when the app is booting and the red bar fills from left to right, it stall at the half way point. After a minute long delay, the game loads but the only buttons that work are multi-player and credits. I've delated the game, restarted the iPad and downloaded again. The results are consistent. This is genuinely disappointing.

I just recently bought all the scenarios please figure out a way that we can play our existing Multiplayer games without patching. For many of us the IPad is the only way to play so the game should be allowed to work without patching if we choose not to buy Sealion. That is very deceitful.

I noticed we have combat odds on the ipad version now. Very happy!

These trigger related bugs only surfaced during the development of SL, because such triggers were not used before in any of the official content.
A couple of examples:
A unit that switched to AI side showed erratic behaviour if it was player owned before the switch.
When the level of ammo of an AI unit dropped to or under 0, as a result of a trigger, the AI could still fire.

Can anyone expereincing issues on iOS make sure you are updating to the latest version of the OS. We have to update to support OS9, as most people move to that and if we don't it stops working for them and it looks like that may cause some issues for old OS's like 5. In general you need to keep up to date or software updates will stop working. There isn't much we can about this as its Apple's call and we have to keep the most people working possible. I wish OS updates didn't break games
