@Andy:
The quickload/save issue, on which scenario are you trying this? Or does it happen for all scenarios? What about if you run the game in "tactical map" visual mode?
Also, out of curiosity, your DxDiag reads:
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3054MB RAM
Anyone has any idea why the OS memory is so low compared to the total amount? For my own DxDiag the difference is just a few dozen MB.

It happened in nearly all scenarios, I remember however that when playing Pearl Harbour, it worked. Will look into that.
I will try the tactical map mode later, maybe the weekend (busy).
@everybody on this thread: Haven't tried the Pearl Harbour fix yet, does it work?
About that ram issue - I am running a 32bit Win7 right now, planning to upgrade that later. That's why. Yeah, it's a kludge. But I am currently
happy everything is sort of working; I never buy retail complete systems. I build my PC myself out of sheer masochism, I guess.
By the way, has OoBP any known Win10 issues?

I've been using Win10 since it was launched and have not had any problems with OOB.
(Even very old games like Carriers At War, Operational Art of War, Uncommon Valor etc runs OK).

'Pearl Harbor won't stop thinking' is completely cured by 1.9.4E. Thanks!

Not quite sure whether it should start a new thread, but the game still keeps crashing here.
As I said before, this is a totally new, self-built PC, which is way more powerful than my old one.
So the reason must be with the software.
I attach the crash files from the last two hours (!).
Maybe you guys can make sense from this.
To cheer you (and me) up: It is still a great game. Love playing it, despite it crashing on me every couple of minutes during Leyte.

Andy, thanks for the report.
We're looking into these memory issue reports. They don't seem to affect players consistently.
I realise this isn't the fix you're looking for, but a solution that might work for you would be to install a 64 bit version of windows. Looking at your specs, you've got a lot of RAM which is currently out of reach.

Yeah, that is on my to-do list. Disc lies right next to me. (With 8 gigs or ram, I now kind of need it.) However, I had these issues with my old PC, totally different system specs and 4gigs of ram (so no use for 64bit version). So I doubt it is that. Will try, though.

I also have had my OBP freeze on turn 12 of the Pearl Harbor scenario. Pressing Ctrl-Enter allows you to escape and continue the game but it also freezes on the remaining turns as well. I use a MacBook Pro with OS 10.10.5 and I thought at first that it was bug caused by trying to run the Pearl Harbor scenario set to solo at difficulty level V. I run OBP version 1.9.4d. I have not found any version 1.9.4e. Is the 'e' version only for the PC version?

Hi Wyona, the fix for the Pearl Harbour freeze is in this thread. You can download it from this post:

I replaced the 3 .dll files but it did not work. after displaying the mod launcher screen and clicking on the original game, OOBP for Mac screened out to black and the expected music file did not play. I quit after a very long wait and have gone back to the unmodified game. Thanks anyway.

I understand a formal patch has been approved for release, which will fix this and other issues for both mac and pc users.

I've bought my version from steam, and the patched version is asking me for serial, which steam didn't provide. It's hopeless...

If you bought from Steam, Steam should auto-update to any patches. You shouldn't have to install them manually.
If you've done this, I suggest running the option in steam to verify your installation. This should ensure that all files are correct and delivered from steam.

The 1.9.4e update should be available for Mac as well, which should eliminate the Pear Harbor AI freeze issue.
If you have serial issues on Mac Steam, try deleting the serial.dat file in /Users/<your username>/Order of Battle - Pacific/Settings

Hi,
I've verified installation and the main screen still reads 1.9.4d. The game is still bugged

Bugged as in asking for a serial? Did you try deleting the serial.dat file?

Allright let me explain - now I've got two "versions" of OoBP:
1. One I've downloaded from steam, which is 1.9.4d - playable but bugged
2. The second one I've downloaded from here as a 1.9.4e patch - which asking me for serial.
In the first one, in "settings" dir I've got only: hotkeys.dat, tutorial.dat, unlocked.dat and options.dat. There is no serial.dat file
In the second one I haven't got "settings" dir at all.
Sorry for inconvenience, but I've paid almost 40 euros and the game is awesome, but hardly playable. Also, I'm having imac for two weeks so maybe I do sth wrong? Should I open the patch inside of "steam OoBP dir maybe? Please help!

The version you (can now) get from Steam should also be 1.9.4e. If that's not the case something is wrong there - I'll ask the guys from Slitherine on Monday to confirm that.
As a temporary solution you can download this txt file:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jyn6hpd7pirst ... d.txt?dl=0
And place it in the same folder as the 1.9.4e Order of Battle.app file (your applications folder?). Then,
with Steam running in the tray, if you doubleclick the .app it should find the appID in your steam library and bypass the serial check.
Let me know if that helps.

Finally got a good download of OOB-P ver 1.9.4e for Mac from the Slitherine forum and loaded it. It ran just fine. No more game freeze on turn 12 of Pearl. Thanks for the fix.
