Soft cap probably won't have much impact in Sea Lion: this is a hypothetical 1940 operation, so none of the expensive heavy tanks or advanced aircraft will be available. Maximum overstrengthening might cause it to kick in, I suppose.

BTW, I just read Peter Fleming's Operation Sea Lion in preparation for this release. Excellent read, highly recommended.

Soft cap starts at an average of 400. Even your infantry with transports and 2 overstrength will be getting close to that. I've had noticeable effects from it 1941 with most units 11 or 12 strength but strat bombers and 105 artillery at 13 strength.

This only gets around the issue and does not solve it.

I do not like to fiddle with rules like this.
I would much prefer the game to be corrected.

If the game will be released on Sept 15th I want to go ahead & get in line now. Hope you're correct!

We're currently at the final phase for the PC version; the iPad version still requires some work.

Are you guys planning on surprise releasing this? Or should one accept the fact that since you guys still have a "TBD" for release date on the game page that it is quite some time away still?
A September 15th release date to celebrate Battle of Britain Day would be awesome! Or at least celebrate it with some info on how close we are to seeing this

The guys responsible for Order of Battle: Pacific are (supposedly) releasing the Battle of Britain expansion today. I guess that two games touching the same subject would not be released on the same date, it's not a good marketing practice We have to be patient and wait still...

Completely unrelated to the waiting game but... I'm thinking about including some of the scenarios from this campaign in my epic let's play series. After all the initial 2 at least are historical. The islands were occupied and the battle of britain and Eagle Day certainly happened. Might be a nice change to promote this a bit, even though I'll probably be quite late with that since I KIND OF want to wait for Soviet Corps before finishing 1939 so I can get the winter war in there, which I hope will be part of the soviet campaign. Heck for all I know the occupation of eastern poland might be in there too...
