I assume we are using the P&S Original game and not P&S Campaigns?

All the lists are from Pike & Shot plus Tercio to Salvo so I'd advise playing using those programs.

I was thinking more of the gameplay changes exclusive to "Campaigns" most notably artillery disperses at impact instead of possibly fighting it out for multiple turns...(which is a huge change imho)
I suppose as long as eveyone is consistant in using P&S Original engine, it wont matter.

It isn't possible to accept Pike and Shot challenges with Pike and Shot: Campaigns, and vice versa, they use different "servers".
Since nobody has declared that they possess Pike and Shot: Campaigns, and some people may be using iPad only, the only sensible way to proceed for this round is for everyone to continue to use Pike and Shot.
But I suggest a straw poll for who owns what for whatever tournament or round is next.
For which I open the bidding by saying that I obviously possess Pike and Shot on PC and iPad and Pike and Shot Campaign on PC.

I don't own Tercio and Salvo - but it seems I can accept challenges for that game but I can't set-up my own. So for the second round it seems that all my matches would have to be set-up by others. From what I can see you can't buy Tercio and Salvo anymore.
I have bought Campaigns though so I can set-up Tercio and Salvo matches via that for opponents who already have it!
Could you let me know what the best thing to do is?

Like you say either get your opponents to set up both matches or use campaigns if they own it. It is probably best to contact your opponents using the private mail system.

I have had a bit of slow play recently (work, bah!) but will be back in the swing of it now. I can't see challenges from Hrothgar or Hutze - I'm not using Campaigns so wonder if this is the problem?
Cheers.

That's strange. I see both our games under the tab "enemies turn". I'm using normal P&S too.

Outstanding Games
I'll be closing the tables at the end of this upcoming weekend on the 19th. So if TheGrayMouser and Tiopepe could wrap up their games pronto then that would be great. As for Group B I don't expect keyth or Hrothgar to complete their matches so I'll be voiding their games unless a landslide of results roll in. Sorry to you guys about that. As for group C they are already at the podium and awaiting the rest of us.

My four games ( 2x Tiopepe, 1x bates and 1 xAryaman) are pretty far along and should be over within 1-5 turns each.... thats the rub as we are managing one turn per day... Should have all completed by the end o the weekend!

Caracole III Finally Ends
Thanks to everyone for participating in this latest Caracole. I've posted final results and a comprehensive listing of rankings. I've also delved into older threads to show the results for the first two seasons of the Caracole. I think having some kind of living record which allows players to track their progress is good for motivation so if players would like I may set up a chess-like ELO system that is calculated at he end of each round going left to right and top to bottom for calculating ratings. Such a rating could be used for seeding in future tournaments. Any comments are welcome plus feedback on how things were run. I've got some ideas in mind for running a fourth instalment and would be interested in what people think.
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Steve for organising this.
It would be nice to include some of the new armies from Pike and Shot: Campaigns (Age of Machiavelli and Le Roi Soleil modules) in the next season. However, this would exclude anyone who has not upgraded, or who, like Keyth, travel a lot and mainly play on iPad.
I wonder if there is a way we could have some Pike and Shot: Campaigns specific matchups for those who have access to the game, with alternative army matchups specified if one or both of the players don't?
Also, however, there may now be some folk who would like to take part, but only have Pike and Shot: Campaigns, having come late to the party. It would seem a shame to exclude them. What you would do if one player only has Pike and Shot, and the other only has Pike and Shot: Campaigns, I don't know.
I think a straw poll would be in order, to see how many people who would like to take part have access to both versions of the game and who only has access to one version.
To start the ball rolling: Obviously I have both.
