Go plastic. I've started a plastic generic army that will start off as Pyrrhic. I've also got all the figures for an Assyrian army. Looking forward to playing them in competitions in the UK next year!

The biggest challenge for me to go to plastics other than the fact i have all metal is the heft of the stands. I would want heavy bases to make up for the weight of the figures. It just feels right. I do look forwrd to the quality of the plastic coming out in 28mm.

I also like the weight of metal figures but I've been thinking of maybe mixing one or two plastic figs in with 2-3 metal ones per heavy infantry base, that way they still have some decent weight to them plus it would help reduce my cost of creating an army. I've been thinking about making a Marian Roman army out of 28mm and like the look of the Wargames Factory stuff and from the pictures on their website they look like they would mix well with Foundry.
