Same experience here. Doesn't seem to understand his supply can be cut.

I was just wondering why the game map is orientated North/South while the actual battles went West to East . In BotB the game map was the way I would normally imagine, but not with DoM. Still loving the game.

That's the way maps have always been done, hence the use of "orient" as a verb. Well, always up until it switched.

More seriously, the shape of the playing area was 3 x 4 but the shape of our user interface was 4 x 3, so rotating the map made things a lot simpler.
