still not news for the german appstore???

Still no word. Just one acknowledgment that they received our query about it. I imagine they are swamped.

You are loosing thousands of dollars!
After christmas, nobody will write about your game anymore, most people will have forgotten, that the game ever existed - the game that wasn´t available in their appstore when they read about it...
You should open a lawsuit against Apple if they promised you a (relatively) simultaneous worldwide release!

I´ll remember and buy it, but I´m only representative for a tiny fraction of your potential audience.

Heh, tell me about it! But I don't think suing Apple is in the cards: they probably reviewed 50,000 apps in the past month and in general do a great job -- I'm sure it's not capricious, just a mistake. Doesn't keep it from being frustrating for everybody, though.

I just say: us itunes account. you can even give us promo codes for the later German appstore. so that we do not have to pay several times.

Sure it's a mistake. But People ( and especially : organizations) only learn from mistakes, if they suffered consequences.

My Fingers are still crossed for this week..

Put aside some money for BotB, but now spent it on Walking Dead instead...maybe next year.

Problem might be that some people, like me, will now spend their money in the upcoming Christmas sales...

And I don't want to create another account just for this game...that's not an option. I hope for the rest that BotB will arrive in the German App Store before Christmas.

No more news, alas. We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.

It's still not available in Switzerland either. I gave up and got it from the US store using a friends' credit card. Enjoying the game although wish the AI was more challenging.

Apple confirmed this afternoon that Battle of the Bulge has been withheld from the German, Austrian, and Swiss stores because of concerns about content. This delay is frustrating, but we understand Apple's need to comply with laws and sensitivities in each jurisdiction. We are working with them to identify any specific items of concern and to ensure that Bulge meets all such requirements.

The relevant office at Apple is now closed for the holidays; we don't expect to have any further news until the second week of January.

We'll keep you informed.

And it seems that it is also available in the german and austrian stores!
