Excellent two virgins for sacrifice. Albeit two very long in the tooth virgins so nubile cannot be accurately be included in the description.

My 18 Elephant army wont be playing this year... still on order board. But I will only be playing to make the teams even. All I can a say is a GDWS member "Broke my camp last week" and it has taken most of the week to fix it!!!!!
Naughty member!!!
Anyways I have gone for something that I have only had 2 games with so far... and lost both!!!

A George was a potential Virgin but could not hold out long enough.

Alea iacta est. I ordered a new army and bases today so that I too can play in the spirit of fun. I have fingers and toes crossed that both will arrive quickly so that I can paint and base in a week.
What have I done

And what happens if you do not finish the army? We cannot have unpainted mobs in such a prestigious event as Schiltron.

Actually, I was just checking whether George would allow partially painted armies. If so I might go for something new as well.

Such bad planning. I've had the new figures since xmas. Lots of time to get the painting done.

Just had a nice chat with Damian at Donnington who has very kindly agreed to pull out all the stops for me. I'd heard from other folks what a great guy he was and can certainly confirm he lived up to his star billing with me even suggeting alternative figures from stock to get the order out of the door quicker. Nice one Damian!
Anyways i have also booked the one and a half days I'm not committed to off work next week to put in the hours so I'm pretty sure I can meet this challenge.
Please make allowances oh worthy opponents if I doze at the table next weekend

Soooooo ............
Spotted Dog Productions can exclusively reveal that the army the daft Hunter is aiming to order, base and paint in less than 12 days comprises 256 infantry and 96 mounted - a whopping 448 castings. It is being supplied by the tremendous Damian of Donnigton Miniatures whose moulds are whirring away as SD writes.
Any guesses?
George and Damian - no clues
Also - at 10 minutes per casting in total SD reckons that 75 hours work ...... can it be done

Nobades and who could Blemye if you did.
My new army well on the way to completion but I had the figures already.
If Hunter gets his figures on Monday or Tuesday and can finish the army for Saturday then he deserves to win. If he does not finish then I hope he enjoys spectating for as he says no unpainted or incomplete armies allowed. It would be unfair to let him switch if the runners and riders are published. He could be our Geisha providing tea but no other services thank you.

Hope you've had your list pre-checked. Would hate to see you paint all those figures just to find its an invalid list.
