Why not make it a DLC for the mod that comes later? - only needs 4-5 scenarios at most.

Hard to give an ETA yet. It's actually quite far, but progress is kinda slow. So probably not before the end of this year.

Really looking forward to this one.. At last, a serious look at this very important event of World War 2..Being an x-Brit, in Yankee-Doddle land, this tugs at the old heart strings !!

For those really interested in the best full army +, account..I very strongly suggest you read the following.

"Fight To The Last Man"
DUNKIRK.

By.

Hugh Sebag-Montefiore.

Without a doubt, an eyeopening account, the BEST, I have ever read, or come across.

I have a question. Why do you feel the need to go with pictures for the bigunits cards instead of renders? As far as I can see the new graphics are mostly desert camouflage and those use the info cards of the european version of the unit anyway. Mostly I`m worried about what this would mean for any new aircraft. I was hoping they could be used to enlarge your existing collection.

There are simply too much units overall to have rendered 3d UI pics for everything. Some are just 2d modifications, like the 18 pdr gun or the Crusader AA Mk.III mentioned above. Others have not been made by me, so I don't have 3d models for all units included, and would need to redo those from scratch. That's not affordable time-wise.

For aircraft I made myself, most will make it sooner or later into the Unit Factory air mod - there I always see to have them complete incl. bigger 3d render.

With some screenies.

After El Alamein it's "let's chase Rommel through the desert" late 1942:

After entering Tunisia in 1943 the Mareth Line blocks the way further north:

With the desert war decided the Allied invasion of Sicily is following:

Looks very interesting.

May I make a request: please could you engineer it so that it does NOT require JGME to play it.
I am sure there are other people like me who love to play mods but also cant use JGME hence restricting the ones we play. Many thanks.

A quick question; The screenshot you had of the tank selection, was that earlier on in the game?. I noticed there was no sherman firefly.
I was dissapointed with 'allied corps' as the selection of equipment was very limited i.e. for tanks there was no real choice just 'what is the latest churchill. Thanks

Unfortunately there is no good way right now to make all customizable files work without GME. That works only for campaigns that do not add new files like new units gfx etc.

There is a way to still play it without GME, but I find it not acceptable - you would need a second installation of PzC where you overwrite all vanilla stuff with modded files (uncomfortable and error-prone too). I'd rather get rid of GME myself, but unless the mod support gets enhanced in a patch or further addon this mod will still need it.

As for the tanks, yeah, the screen shot was from earlier. There will be Firefly tanks from mid-44 of course :)

Only Churchills will not do it here, because of their slow speed (movement heroes are gold here through), and later somewhat mediocre AT capability.

I don't make many scns a "race" (with few exceptions where it makes sense - Market Garden for example), but there's clearly a need for a good combi of heavy and more mobile, but also more vulnerable tanks.

Churchills (or early Matilda IIs) are great to protect your spearheads, but not for fast attacks into the flanks or the rear of the enemy. Unless you have movement heroes though...

A non=JGME second installation is how i use BfE so as long as its clear and simple that will be fine thanks.

I don`t mean to pressure you in any way and, of course, take your time with it, but how`s it going? :D
