I played Tractor Works both as German and Soviet against Mowbyi. It's really impossible for the German player to win because much of the German force is wasted in the first two rounds. I'm talking about the German units that are attacked both from the factory and from the town. What happens is that Soviet forces can essentially quickly overrun the Germans on that side of the factory, at which point they only have to worry about the units on the other side, and some units on their right flank, which are too far away to be destroyed in first two rounds.
If German would move first, or if units were randomly (or manually) placed, then German units caught between town and factory might have a chance to survive.

I see a certain tactic used in BA2 by my opponents. They use the Swap option so first unit 1 gets adjacent and fires. Then unit 2 swaps with unit 1 and is adjacent to the enemy and fires. This gets a lot of firepower on a tile. So I probably need to be doing this.
Thoughts?

About the Tractor Works
I know that the first turn is terrible for the German.
I'm still testing because many times the first impression is not always the true.
The German moving first is a possibility.
The free placement is not as easy as it should be in BA, because the placed units had a LOS and the sighted tiles become available for deploy even if you don't want it.
The original SL game had stacking so in a building, you could place a lot of units not in the front tiles, but this is not possible in BA.
The current version, a2, adds the Fanaticism and the Accuracy and a sister of victory based on how many Tractors stone building tiles are controlled.
Next version a3 will try to be more balanced, but I need to play more to know how unbalanced it is.
Thank you for your opinions and suggestion.

Yes because I suggest that replicates the SL stacks.
Cheers.

mlazar, you're referring to the scenario Guards Counterattack right?
Has any other experimented this? As I have not a PC I can't try on the PC.

As I said on Mac, and on iPad it worked fine but I made a new version with a new image size for Accuracy, it's a zipped file:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/36194263/GUARDS.zip
Can anyone with a
PC put (unzipped) in the CAMPAIGN folder and just try the Accuracy option.

are you referring to the .zip file?, you must un-zip it before.
"To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions."

Hello:
Doing my German turn playing Guards Counterattack I received an error that shut BA2. Was able to open the turn on the server and play again. I will PM the error messages.

Which version?
Have you tried the version .zip file I posted above?, or the linked file on the first post?

If you have a PC could you please try the .zip version on the CAMPAIGNS, just to try the action that seems is given a issue.

Sorry enric. I have only downloaded .lst files so far. Can you briefly explain. And are you saying I can then play it single player to test? Which campaign folder?
I think I was tying to give shot accuracy. But not sure.
