I could, but I don't want to

.
Granted, I wouldn't get a mac version anyway since I already have the iPad version, but the point is still valid.

Parallels is a osx emulator that does not require a reboot, just use like you would use your normal computer.
I would have included a link but since its my first post i wasnt allowed to do so!
Does anyone know if scenarios made on the desktop can be played on the ipad? Man that would be swell but i will assume no since it would affect future campaign sales (Would love to be wrong!)

If you set up a LST file for your campaign (allow people to download it directly from inside the game) then this works on iPad too.

Gah. Sorry - I have posted in the wrong thread. I was talking about Battle Academy rather than PzC. Sadly PzC iPad (and any OSX probably) use non-compatible data with a lot of mods. Sorry for the false information (and hope!

).
Cheers

Surely some of you guys would be able to choose the best mods (as long as WWI is one of them

) and release them as Free DLC for the iPad, with the creators of the mod specifying what would need to change?

does parallels on a mac require a windows disk does anyone know? ..it would definitely be worth doing a mac version of panzer corps, there is a scant amount of strategy games on the app site

..haha! i can see why i've stuck to PC up to now! if i was running apple i'd be embarrassed!

yes, you must have a valid windoz install CD/DVD to use with Parallels or Bootcamp.

ok thanks mr forest ..is there a link someone could put up to get parallels? ..i can't seem to find it ..on the plus side, i'm probably keeping my pc for gaming ..the imac stuff is appauling..i was searching for other strategy games, and then you read the reviews and 'crashes my mac' appears on almost ALL of them! my buddy said macs don't crash..but hey ho! it'll do for a recording studio if nothing else (sigh!)

your lament is well founded. my favorite all time war-game was Operation Crusader by Atomic games (mac) and a fun one was Carriers At War (mac). CAW is available again, but windoz only. there is certainly a dearth of WWII strategy games for the mac. i think there is a decent latent demand for them, but publishers seem reluctant to take the plunge. frankly, i think a lot of the titles available for windoz are dreck.
as far as parallels goes, it is pretty good. you need a decent mac with enough horsepower and disk space, but the coherence mode integrates individual windoz apps into the mac environment seamlessly. parallels works well for the PzCorps kind of game. can't say about shooters (don't play them) or flight sims (i have two on the mac that keep me entertained).
