Yes, This guy speaks the truth! Please give us some information!

As far i know the problem is the game is developed by a small team. They are all probably tied up in hard work and posting news on the board can be time consuming if they should consist of more then just a few words. So while more info may boost up the hype it may as well slow down the development.

Hi guys,
Sorry, we are working just all very hard, all I can say is be patient the Beta is are main priority.
I don`t want to say how much longer, just have to do with we go as fast as we can and be sure the minute we are ready, we will let you know.
All pieces are falling together, we need a bit more time and I think this will be the difference between a good game and an outstanding one and we rather go for the latter.

I know that I would prefer you take more time and get the game right. While it would be nice to play the beta, it would be better to have a really great game. Make us proud guys!
Thanks,
Duncan

I can't believe there is finally life back in this project! I had given up hope!
Anyway, signed up for the beta and as a huge 40k fan I can't wait.

All pieces are falling together
I hope he wanted to say "all things are going together" (like: we connect all the seperate parts, graphics, AI, sound - just need a little more time for that) and not "all things are falling apart" (like: we are facing major problems here)
Whatever it is, I'm sure there will be a great game at the end. Panzer Corps ended up beeing all that I hoped for after the end of SSI. Thanks for your great work guys!

May I enquire on what kind of info will you base our selection? Because on my info panel my birthday was listed as 2005/07/09, beacuse after 4 minutes of clickin' I got tired scrolling back 42 years by months.
OTOH it is already updated, but will you require a formal CV or more info?
regards

Hi all. New to the forum here and to Slitherine games in general. I actually stumbled upon this company while searching for Warhammer 40k titles to see if anything new is in the pipeline.
Boy am I pleased with what I've found. "Really!? A NEW 40K TURN BASED GAME!??" I squealed with great delight..
Maybe not so dramatic.. but I'm very happy that you fine folks are creating this game. As many people have echoed, Final Liberation was a great concept and this new game definitely has that feel to it. However, while we would all love to see a resurrection of FL I have decided not to be too hasty and create unrealistic expectations, I feel that would be selling Armageddon short. From what I've seen with Panzer Corps (which I played for the first time last weekend), this is going to be a beast of it's own kind and I truly look forward to seeing what you make of it.
Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to purchasing this game and to the other projects Slitherine has in the pipeline with this IP.

Hey dev team,
I think you should provide more frequent updates. Armageddon is promissing with great chance of becoming great as Panzer Corps.
But, please provide us with more information, I've asked this for Pandora, which is nice at the moment, but this can bring much more wh40k fan attention to project.

Yeah please give us some more regular updates. Not asking for many but maybe at the start of each week just let us know where you are with the game. More communication puts us in a happy place and that's where you want your playing public

Yes, that would be great. We have absolutely no clue what is going on with Armageddon, maybe you could say us what you are working on and give some information.

as i see, which is different from other slitherine's games is that armageddon's press is controlled by gw and slitherine could not tell us anything before gw confirms it
so we basically should wait for any further news

I can still agree that Slitherine should try and post more frequent updates. I know there are people on some 40K forums looking for updates as well. I try and post occasionally and send them here, but when there is nothing new here, it does not help.
Thanks,
Duncan

With so many people, me included, asking more updates this really should be wakeup call for the devs. Keeping paying customers happy and interested in your product is so important nowadays. You do want more sales, right? Some info, some pictures, we are not asking much. Give us something.
Also start posting on facebook, twitter etc. Any social media update so people can share and so spreading the word. W40k is so popular franchise, potential customer base is huge. Why keep your mouth closed about this awesome game you got makes no sense, none what so ever. Rant over, hope devs see the light and start doing more updates.

Since they the 19 august posted that beta will "probably be next week" we can probably assume they ran into some kind of problem. Hopefully nothing to serious.

The problem with regular updates is promising something that they can't deliver and disappointing the community. There is also the risk of forcing the developers to deliver something unfinished because they promised it on the forums.
I can understand why people are hungry for information (me too), but I am happy to cut them some slack rather than pestering for frequent updates.
At least we know that they have a firm deadline for releasing the game based on the contract they signed with GW. If they don't meet that deadline, they lose the rights to the IP.

yeah, id rather the developers were developing and not wasting time in giving pointless updates
I remember a post somewhere from the devs stated they would not forecast dates to avoid disappointing the community
it'l be ready when its ready.
