For the soviet campaign, I think the flavor text should be changed to something more plausible like: "Employee was transfered to work on a classified military ICBM project".
Or the famous "Cosmonaut X had political divergences with the Party and has been relocated to Siberia for re-education." (= sent to a Gulag)

A friend of mine fiddled a bit on a UI screenshot i sent him. I like it a lot. What do you guys think of it ?

Ugh, sorry to say this but to me taht one is too blaring. It would be ok in a different type of game, but in BASPM I just spend too much time in these screens to stare at such a red color. It would be tiring.
I support the idea of having NASA have a subtly more blue color than the default GSA menu, while the USSR have a subtly more green one. Easier on the eyes.

I just try to come up with ideas... I know red is not the right colour. Hmm, maybe the grey the soviets were painting their rockets with. It's FS 36081, it looks green but it's grey. Might be too dark though :

Soyuz ASTM, in afaik real colors. Maybe this green would do?

First time is see this colour on a Soyuz spacecraft but it might work yes.
