Guys (especially the organisers)

I am very sorry but I won't be able to make the first round game for the 25mm FoGAM. My daughter has a presentation st school which I really have to attend. I will be there for the second game on Saturday and both games on Sunday, though. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, especially to whoever would have drawn me in that round so guaranteeing themselves 25 points !

Sorry.

Folks

We have one player on the waitlist who wishes to play FoGAM 15mm, and uneven numbers in FoGN.

Is there anyone who fancies swapping over?

Tim

So presumably if that gives us an even number in 15mm you need a 25mm player to play FoGN - or vice versa?

Erm... If someone currently playing FoGAM fancies playing FoGN, that allows us to admit one player on the wait list to AM and still have even numbers in AM. It would also give us even numbers in N

Does anyone fancy a bye on Saturday morning? Maybe it saves a long drive and a hotel stay Friday night for one of our 25mm AM players? Or, maybe someone knows someone local who's not entered but can play on Sat AM as a sub?

Otherwise we will need to do a random draw next week and publish it in advance, and someone will end up unfortunately missing out

Tim

My chum Paul Westmore has said he would stand in for me on the Saturday morning game if that's acceptable; using my army list, of course. As he's coming all the way from Plymouth, it would be nice if we could share the Sunday games one each... but that's just me thinking out loud.

Hi Martyn

No problem at all - the (only!) important thing is that everyone gets to play as many games as possible, so I'm sure no-one will mind you tag-teaming it over the course of the weekend if it then avoids anyone having to take a bye. 8)

We've now posted up a venue map on the Roll Call Venue page on the BHGS website - we have so many players this year that we are spilling into additional classrooms so you will need to check where you are playing.

We are not bothering with the checkin queue either so after you arrive it's go to your room, find your opponent and get ready for a 9am kickoff (and then go and get a bacon buttie from the canteen!).

We should also get the draw posted up this week too - last few lists permitting.

Another really well organised BHGS event - thanks very much to everyone who made it another successful weekend of wargaming - thanks guys!

Thanks also to my opponents, Martyn, David and both Grahams for 4 most enjoyable and challenging games.

Hope to see some of you in the Medieval period at Britcon.

Cheers
