Jesus what an issue. Yeah the DLCs have problems. Up to the point that we invaded eastern Germany in the first scenario Poznan where we basically started at the eastern border of modern day germany. That was corrected in a patch somewhat.
So there's issues. But... don't forget this is a game that not only recreated and improved panzer general, it also gives you nearly 200 hours of gameplay in one go. And that for a ridiculously low price if you consider bang for the buck.
Are there illogical things in the DLCs? Sure there are. But don't go comparing the original Panzer General campaign to that. That campaign was full of crap.
Why e.g would you start Kharkov if you win at Stalingrad? How would that even be possible? That battle and Kursk were an immediate result of a desasterous loss at Stalingrad.
And you also could still go for a D-Day major and still get crap like Market Garden and Ardennes.
And what about D-Day AFTER you defeated the Russians? How on earth would that work? An ambhibious landing against an experienced army of over 80 divisions that comes back from the eastern front? Against the entire german luftwaffe that is no longer needed on that front? Against an industry that had 1 year to produce nothing but fighters because tanks are no longer needed at such a large number and no losses are taken anymore? Against a germany that doesn't have any fuel problems anymore since it controls all oil fields in the caucasus and has access to Iran? Really?
So don't get started on historical bullshit in campaigns

That's really as old as the genre.
All I know is this game gives us huge loads of fun for a minimum prize. I've been playing it since it came out and I still haven't come close to finishing all the content even once.
So yeah, there are problems there, maybe future patches can even fix those. Who knows maybe one of the future DLCs will add more units for romania and the older DLC can be updated or something. I imagine this could happen after all content of all fronts has been released and one major gold pack is created to bring everything to the same level.
But for now I'm happy with what I got.
