Well, I did see a film about France once, you know! Great building they have there, the Colosseum ...

OK, I'm Australian by place of birth and current residence. If there's enough players from Down Under for a second team then I'll join it, otherwise I'm not sure where I'd fit.

In live in Perth Western Australia , i would like to play
but not as a leader , just a minion :-D

Cheers
Ian

There maybe a bit of tinkering with teams to make sure all are about equallish in strength but they will all be within the same countries and or similar time zones.

All of the new players will improve thier games here as you vets can teach tehm the ropes so that is a good thing.

We have a first team name.

The Berserkers - cavehobbit, hidde and voskarp. Voskarp is working on a portrait/avatar/icon/picture?:)

Other teams will be, Rex, Claymore and Massina. Londo, Tullius and Iandavid smith. Macsen, jonathan, ulysisgrunt. Dave_r, Brindlebane and Morbio. Have eplowinger and supervark in one team but need another player. So starting working on team names and pm me the final choice.

8 teams will be good, the more the merrier though.

The "captain", is just the person who sends me who is playing in what pool and the results. To make it more interesting could you send me each of the paired results and the total team score, for example.

Rex 77 vs Ronaldo 75
Claymore 100 vs rapier 23
Massina 87 vs density 63

Team A 264 vs B 161

Once I receive all team scores for that round I will post them.

I suppose I could join if there's a need for a team from my timezone, since I doubt Finland has many players here. :)
GMT+2.

If there's no need, it's no problem, but if a team wants me, feel free to PM me. Or if you want to group under the timezone to form a new team with me.

I guess I can play too if a team from GMT-5 (US / Canada East) needs a player.

Cheers to both

Tiavals you will be part of an Italian/Finnish alliance and Tom you will join eplowinger and supervark to form a USA team

Please contact the players to start agreeing on a team name and who plays in what period

See the 5th post for teams

Hoping that CheAhn and Gazxtrix will join up with Peterabb to form yet another "land down under" team.

Need your team names and who is playing in what pool/period and we might as well begin then.

A minor change

Thanks to Gazxtrix. Waiting for one more.

TAKE NOTE

4 Three pools/periods.
Pool 1 - 24 BC to 450 AD (400 pts)
Pool 2 – 451 AD to 1080 AD (500 pts), no knights, no Dailami (all) and no Arab Conquest armies to be used.
Pool 3 – 1101 AD to 1500 AD (450pts), no Dailami, maximum of 4 Almughavars/Catalans, maximum of 4 Swiss Pike and a maximum of 14 pike in total.

Each team must choose a player for each pool/period and that player will only play in the same pool/period throughout the competition.
Each player uses the same army throughout.

Maybe in the future. Players can choose different armies for each round. A bit of a guessing game with ref to what your next opponent will field.

Once all teams have a name, have chosen who plays in what period/pool and with what army. I shall post them all and within a day the 1st round draw will be up.

I would have thought that your best fit would be the Centauri Republic? :D So, maybe the 'Lost in Space" team

You are Italian, right now. Just in the case you need some suggestione for handle your new status:
1. Start to move arms while talking
2. talk at high volume
3. and the main think ........ stop drinking Finn's coffee, that's no coffee at all

Team Il Condottieri

What about "The" (Finnish translation), azzurri. Blue is both of your national sporting colours, I believe.

Just to clarify

If part of the date of an army falls within the time frame of the period it is OK.

For example Western Hunnic Attila 433 - 453 AD

This army can be chosen in period/pool 1 and pool 2
