i understand your frustration. This appears to be an issue that affects specific Apple IDs. We are working on trying to find out what is going on.

Just to be clear guys - this is a bug on Apple's side. We cant fix it and need them to fix it. We are doing all we can. We know how frustrating this is for you and if we could fix it we would

If you guys could do a sequence of screenshots going through the purchase process from beginning to end that would be very useful. We can then both compare this to the successful process (in terms of the popups seen and the messages received), and also it gives us details to send to Apple to help them fix this issue (which is also affecting a number of other developers from what I have been reading).
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Screenshots at the following link.
I select the 'tick' in the first 3 screens, then 'buy', then 'OK' and then nothing happens.
Good luck

Perfect! Thanks a lot.
Just to confirm, after the last screen (the "not downloaded" one) do you see anything else?

Once I click 'OK' it goes straight to the last screen without a pause. Selecting the 'tick' on that screen just starts the whole sequence again.

OK - thanks for the info. Unfortunately I don't expect to hear much until after the Xmas break, but being able to show the difference in the flow (that is: your system popups are entirely different to the ones you see when it all works...) might help Apple track down the bug.

Hi! I was considering buying some IAPs for my iPad's BA during the Holiday Sale. Given some of the problems mentioned above, I'm a bit hesitant to do so until it's resolved. Could you consider extending the Holiday Sale, at least for BA IAPs?

afaik the issue only affects a very small number of people (specific Apple IDs from what we have been able to glean), and only on iOS 7. It also appears that the sale goes through but that the confirmation doesn't reach the game, so even if you are stricken with the issue, you will still have purchased at the reduced price and be able to activate once the bug has been fixed by Apple.

Hi guys, any news on resolving our difficulties loading IAP?

It should now be resolved (Apple were supposed to be pushing out a server fix on Feb 1st). Please let us know if this is not the case.

Easy there Sapper, from what I have read - IT IS NOT A SLITHERINE ISSUE - as has been stated it appears to be an App Store pop up that would be telling me to vent my frustration at Apple not these guys.
Quick question - have you used the evo jailbreak - I've had some issues since jailbreak but not with BA so far.

Jail breaking? Come now

Nothing wrong with jailbreaking - only use for adding a decent download manager onto safari......
P.s. Also if anyone has had any trouble jailbreaking a newer device simply open several evo jailbreak apps at same time and viola jailbreak completes...........but sshhhhhhhh don't tell anyone.

Hi guys. Apparently the Apple server patch at the start of the month didn't actually solve the issue in the end. Sorry for the ongoing problems

Don't worry, Protectivedaddy, I have been pressing Applestore as well but not really getting anywhere with them, we seem to get stuck in a circular issue about what the problem is - any suggestions about who/how to speak to in Apple would be welcome. But I AM frustrated: there is £35 worth of IAPs that I can no longer play and £7 (Fortress Metz) that I've never been able to play.

This is a server issue in their side, but I doubt that that kind of info filters through to the customer support people. It seems to be very specific and we are in contact with another developer who has managed to get into direct contact with the right people. It's just that the solution seems to be eluding the Apple guys. I can fully appreciate your frustration

An update on this. I got a report from our friends at Playdek that they were getting reports that the problems were solved by Apple last night. Please let me know whether you can not correctly purchase and activate your IAP.
