Slitherine

I have sent the email but I purchased the game through Matrix, so I hope that isn't a problem.

I used the .zip file from the matrix page then installed it into a slitherine directory in an attempt to get the pre-requisite files to update to .15 then .16.

I have yet to play the game because of this CRC thing and have tried everything in this thread (admin check, uninstallation, etc)

This worked. I never used the original installer from back when I first purchased the game because I didn't want to play it until it came along more, merely financially supporting it. When I finally went to play a few months ago and now the installers never worked (CRC error). Using the original file from purchase fixed everything.

If reposting this was an attempt to aid me, I appreciate the intent but I'd already read every post I could find regarding the "CRC error" and tried everything mentioned and none of it helped at all. Again, I appreciate the attempted aid.
