I can comment.
Horse horse horse,
going horse.
Now, Paddy, repeat after me, "Simon, you can have 1/2 of the army" and that doesn't include the mob

So will we be getting a runners and riders this week before the grand pilgrimage to the valleys?
Personally I was favouring Hungarians (Szekler cavalry - Bow*, Light Lance, Swordsmen, Superior) but I was over-ruled by my senior partner; so if there's lots of those fluffy Bow/Sword Ottoman types around I'll be getting the recriminations in early
Regards
C

If certain people get their finger out and supply their army lists.

Whats the world coming to when Dave Allen doesn't take Scottish and two other players do
it just feels wrong, so wrong.
My Favourite is Don Avis & Jim Gibson with Japanese if they don't meet all the Gendarme armies
other than that looks like a lot of scissors, paper , stone so all depends on your draw
save travel
see you soon
Alasdair
I don't know all these FOG R competitions dominated by Infantry armies, we might have to look at the rules again!!!!!!

Richard,
Do you want each player to bring their own cloths for the tables as in previous years?

I suspect this is partly due to serious lack of choice in AM this year combined with a chance to use all the stuff that is normally fodder to the 30YW or later outfits that dominate the period...?

Or it may be that the rules are just more popular

I don't see too many (recent) refugees from AM in this list - certainly not enough to explain the swing from AM to R this year.
IMO it's more likely to be a reflection on the role of the Southern League 1-dayers in encouraging R players in the Usk catchment area to give competitions a go, and finding that they enjoy them...

well it's not quite as picturesque as last year, but the Glen is in danger of courting bad luck for leaving the decs up after twelfth night

Crickey - what a nail biter going down the finishing straight. Well done all - especially Richard for his super fast posting of the results. Steady on RBS - you're puttiing the rest of us to shame! Hunter.
