It is a story scenario driven, turn-based, hex-based wargame.
We have flying units as speeders, fighters, bombers etc... we have special characters like Yarrick, Dante, Ghazghkul, etc.
Orks are available and in game, the first game portrays the Second War for Armageddon™ in great detail, from the initial Ork landings to the final liberation of the planet of Armageddon.
I'm throwing money at the screen but nothings happening!
Seriously, I never got into the tabletop mini's of 40k. Always wanted to but that is an expensive hobby. I love the Dawn of War games but to get an actual turn based wargame of this franchise, from the group that made Panzer Corp's, It's like a dream.

Ok. I like it very much already.
Three new questions now.
- Can I play Orks in campaign? Can I defeat Empire and take over hive world of Armageddon...?
- I don't have too much experience in playing your games. I live for books, fluff and story. What game should I pick before starting WH40k: Armageddon? Just to get the basics. We already know that should be turn based, hex game.
- I will give you my interpretation of Orks vs. Imperials...

... and maybe you can give us some of that angry green flavour?

/edit1: oops. That pic may be a tad to fat... sorry. You can have it

/edit2: post cleaned up.

So is the game one unit equals one man, like Chaos gate? It's still not been confirmed about the scale though we are told we are silly wondering if it will be at Panzer Corps scale. We all are aware how big PC is and no doubt as it's a cash cow so to speak it could be tempting to use it for WH40K. Lets remember one of the WH40K released way back was a conversion so to speak of Panzer general. Iain has already stated it wont be the same as the tabletop game as GW is way to protective of it.
So as it wont play or be similar to PC in scale...and your talking about individual commanders do I presume that one space marine on the screen will equal one space marine?
