Hmm, hmm, this map looks me somehow familiar...
nikivdd wrote:9. Siege of Warsaw
Pretty straightforward as the Warsaw mission in Panzer General. I didn't want to copy the DLC '39 Warsaw maps.
One more Poland mission to go.

Yeah. First used in a long forgotten, first attempt axis campaign (before GTPG) and then used in both Italian campaigns

Hi and welcome to the Slitherine forum

. Thanks for the suggestion but Modlin is the last scenario for the invasion of Poland. I started with scripting scenario 11 last night, so today or tomorrow i'll post the screenshots. I didn't want to fill up the rest with Norway scenarios (in analogy with DLC '39) because that is 1940 anyway. I hope that the final scenarios will be a (n) (unexpected?) surprise

.

Thanks my friend. I still strive to release the mod during the weekend, but no promises.

I am really looking forward to this one. I kind of enjoy the early war scenarios most ... the weak tanks you have actually force you to apply some combined arms tactics rather then roll over everything with 5 stars Panthers and Tigers. Additionally i personally like the smaller scale of the missions.

Than I advise to play the Italian Campaign 2.0 too - if you haven't yet played -: many early war scenarios, "paper" tanks, Nikivdd's scenario quality (most scenarios made by Nico). Advertisement OFF.

Actually i just realized i downloaded it and queued it for "when i have time" a while ago and totally forgot about it. Will have to give it a go when i come back home from work. AC is finished, DLC on hold until the fix of the new rules is released and it's way to hot to do anything outside. Sounds like perfect timing.

Thanks for your interest. Indeed, the maps are not overwhelming in size but should still allow for enough maneuverablility. For those playing with FOW off, what you see on the map is what you get; except for planes and whatever (little) units the AI spawns.
I have been testing on colonel level, without advanced settings. Prestige should be more than okay, and shouldn't withold players from reinforcing units during missions and/or even upgrading auxiliaries. With the latest patch, anyone can use the advanced settings to make it less or more difficult.
The equipment file is altered somewhat, but GME is not needed at all.
Following units were added:
- 36 Wehr Inf, SE 36 Wehr Inf, 36 Cavalry, Ju87A, Bf109D, PzIIID, PzIIIE (now purchaseable), PzIVC, and more PzII variants. There are also more PzI variants but will appear in the next installment. Kradschützen are available since mission 1.

Hi Nico,
What do you think about Panzer III A?
1937 version A
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_III
Panzer IV A?
1936 version A, 1937 version B
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_IV
Today evening I'll take a look in my books for more information.

For the LoV-Ultimate we have the Rheinmetall NbFzg(Neubaufahrzeug) instead of them....
