Just tried to download it via OPERA. Failed after about 103MB downloaded. Mmmmm. This is a first for me. ... No success on a re-run. Doesn't even start downloading....?

I am using Opera too and i just tested out the download. Everything is working fine for me. The download starts withing a second and the download speed is around 1Mbit/s. I abandoned the download tho to not waste bandwidth. Considering it just stopped in the middle and you can't even restart it now i guess there may be some problem with routing between your ISP and slitherine server.

I've just checked too and I was able to download it again.

Prolly something with my ISP. Re-trying now..... d/l speed ranging 27--105 Kb/s. But so far on 80MB and counting. Wouldn't an ftp be quicker?

I assume unistall beta1 first?

It shouldn't really matter if you uninstall but maybe to be safe

Loading the replay seems to be a bit on and off. I saved one after finishing the first mission again and i couldn't load it. All i saw after loading it was the last turn ... it looked like autosave from my last turn. After restarting the game it worked flawlessly. Will experiment further to nail down when exactly it works and when not.

I just downloaded and installed, however it does NOT allow me to play any of the campaign or scenarios, it gets stuck at the loading screen where it says "please click to continue". Will uninstall and try to reinstall.

Edit: there is a decompression error on a PNG file, not sure why but when I ignore it it finishes the installation but still doesn't allow me to play.

If you get a decompression error during installing it indicates a problem. Probably something went wrong during the download and the installer is corrupt. Try to download it again, uninstall everything and then install again.

Well, got the beta2 and it will not accept the serial number pasted directly from the email it came with. I tried everything. The old beta was uninstalled several weeks ago and the new serial number is rejected. I guess I sit this one out.

Did you try typing it instead of copying and pasting?
Does it give an error?

Yep, it is a no-go.

Error is "invalid serial number."

Did beta1 work with your serial?
Is it the same serial?
