The PC version was $20 before the price drop. I think that was the confusion.

I would be grateful for a link as it is shown as full price in the shop. I pressed on anyway, but it stayed at full price until time to press the BUY button, so I cancelled.

Well when I click on that link, I get:
Which is not the £2.99 quoted. As today is the last day it looks like I don't get to hand my cash over. Strange that the same link should be showing a different price to different users.

OK, but then why did the first sentence of the thread read:

It is the iPad version that the announcement is referring to. The normal iPad price is $10, while the normal PC price is $20. Both are currently on a 50% sale (which ends tomorrow).
Hope that clears up any confusion.

Understood - different prices for the different platforms. A little strange, but it now all makes sense.
OK, so I won't get it for my PC, but will get it for my iPad.

Yes sorry for the confusion but we never planned to discount the PC version which is why it is not mentioned in the original release. It was because someone complained they did not have an iPad
