Hmmm...
Olivier, Guillaume & Monsieur Dufour ....all on the same team....I wouldn't bet against them.
I'm sorry that I can't be there but will be interested to see the final results.

The problem is that the French don't compete in enough UK competitions to get a full ranking - therefore the French teams have an artificially low ranking. However, since this meant that Guillame's team would end up in last place I considered that it was more than adequate
In reality what the French players need to do is turn up to more UK tournaments (four) and then they'd have a full ranking.
Certainly not!!
The last time some french guys came to play seriously and won sometimes like 1066, you have held against us for eight centuries

As I said, old grudge never die

And your Queen is a Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha (Windsor since 1917)

I'm sure Gordon and Dave S will join me in horror at the suggestion that we might finish in 8th place. If there were 8 teams, maybe, but with 12 teams I think we are being placed above 4 teams too many.

After we taught the French how to make Wine it looks like we'll have to concentrate on the humour next.

Mr R.
As someone who has had the misfortune to drink English wine I really doubt we taught the French anything about making wine, certainly not if the Muscadet's and Chinon's I tasted in the the Loire this month are anything to go by...
