Could you give this a spin and let me know how it goes. Just extract it and copy it over your current installation and make sure everything is replaced.

I tried it and I can now start the game without having to use the shortcut with the ''-no--update'' target and I get the regular loading screen but when I get to ''Creating GUI'' it crashes again. Attached the error logs.

I think the fact that you made a new build for me to try so quickly deserves a thank you all on its own.

With the new version updated the game continuous crashing for me when I try to enter the key.

Okay so I managed to borrow my friends computer for around 3 hours today and had a lot of fun with the game. I had no problem installing or playing it (except that that the game crashed once mid game but I could just reload an from an auto save so it was no big deal.) I made sure to delete everything after I was done playing.

I wrote down some feedback but I'm not sure which of the 3 feedback threads I should put it in. Which one do you prefer?

Your choice really; you can make a new thread.

Ribes can you use this to overwrite your Data and then give it a try?

Maulet, could you give this a try. It's a debug build so it'll run really slow, but we just want to make it work at the moment. Let me know what the logs say.

I can get to the menu screen again, but when I press new game It's the same problem as before.

Maulet does this little app work for you? It's just a mouse movement test, if it opens up and prints things in the console window when you move the mouse around, it's a yes.
