You mean the original game? You've to have bought it. If that's the case, than you can mail to info@slitherine.co.uk with your order details and ask for a new download link.

I feel you are rather upset by my comments and I apologize if you feel so because it was not my intent.

I want to clarify my opinion:

a) I love the game, I congratulate Slitherine team again

b) I really like to have the possibility to playtest the campaigns "in the making" (I did it for all DLCs but three and Afrika Corps), I even abandonned PeG-WW2 (a game I enhanced) for Pz Corps. I also support the hard work of Alexander.

c) I admit the prices are correct for the final consumer (I nearly bought all PzC products)

d) There were only two occasions were discount were offered:
d1: for beta testers when the original game was released
d2: for any end customer for the anniversary of June 6th

e) From a marketing perspective rewarding the beta testers for their work is clever, it allows Slithering team to avoid mistakes and to polish its final product furthermore it creates customer loyalty (beta testers will purchase the game, all DLCs and extensions and will make an excellent publicity of PzC). Slithering did it wisely once. I just regret it occured only once. This is all I said.

f) I agree that due to the low final price of DLC this is not worth granting discounts to DLC.

g) I think granting discounts for future extensions should be clever again from a marketing perspective.

h) It seems this subject is "taboo", can't we freely talk about it on this forum ?

i) From a marketing perspective I think all Eastern DLCs should also be sold in a package (and not only separately as it is today)

Of course you can have a different standpoint than mine.

Having said this I shall continue playesting this DLC (a great one BTW) because I enjoy it!

Did you download and install both files? There is a big file (PanzerCorps-v1.13-beta) which is a beta version of the base game, and another one, the beta DLC (PanzerCorps-Beta-DLC9-v2) needs to be installed as well.

First install the base game beta, than the DLC beta. Then, start the base game beta, select the DLC campaigns, which is the folder on the right hand side of the screen (red arrow in picture), and you should see the West 44 beta campaign as the only available choice.

Just fired up the new dlc and will test it out.

It was the "I expect a discount on the next expansion" comment that concerned me.

We need beta testers to want to do it and not see it as a way of getting a cheap game. The second there is an expectation of something in return for beta testing it all starts to go wrong and the whole experience starts to sour for both parties. That's not to say we don't give things to beta testers but I'm very uncomfortable with the idea of it being a fixed thing and an expectation. In practice we usually offer you guys something.

Damn...you guys are getting to be too fast for me, I never completely finished the Beta II and now I have to start again. good thing I love playing this game!

The last 5 missions are still under construction but there is still a lot of content here!

Why is it extremely slow in downloading? Never had this problem before. Checked download speed (46) and Upload (6).

My download came down quick enough. No problems installing either.

Why not stage notifications to beta testers in waves to manage expected download capacity/bandwidth?

A small note, the DLC installer screen seems to be low-resolution as compared to the game installer screen (both are the King Tiger with a winter setting. It is almost like a 1024 x 768 resolution image versus the expected 1920 x 1080 resolution.

So will we have to restart the campaign after the missing missions are completed? Or will it be possible to continue the campaign without restart when all missions of GC 45 West will be available?
Nevertheless I'm sure I'll enjoy GC 45 West!!!
