Hi guys,

we've found and fixed an issue that we think causes all these problems. We have rebuilt and submitted it to Apple so as soon as it is approved by them we will release it. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Ian, any idea off the turnaround time for when Apple will approve the fix? It's been a week since you fixed it.

It seems to be about 10 days to 2 weeks for things to get through Apple's process.

Downloaded update but still not working properly!! It's better than it was (which is saying nothing). Now, instead of crashing after being open just 8 seconds, it allows me to flick through a few pages, but now it crashes when I swipe to different chapters or use the contents hyperlinks to chapters or the horizontal chapter scrolling.

Seems solid so far on my iPad 1 with iOS 5.1.1 - IIRC you have a later version of the iPAd and I'm guessing it may also have iOS 6 on it? Worth repeating that for tech support.

Yep, iPad 2, IOS 6.

I just downloaded onto a different one of our iPads (also iPad 2, IOS 6, but WiFi only), and this time it seems to work (but not exactly quick). This is the clunkiest app I have ever downloaded from the app store. I have downloaded book apps that contain all sorts of features - such as search, bookmark, embedded video, interactive features - and they work fine (and install quicker and perform faster), while this one is just an absolutely barebones e-reader (not even to the specs of a PDF reader) yet is slow and is quite hit & miss as to which machines it works on. Sorry to say but very very disappointing so far - hopefully future iterations can fix the problems and soon!

Sorry you are still having problems but the issue is we just don't have this happen for us. That makes it very hard to track down and fix. Could you try exiting the app completely and closing all other apps. To do this I think you double tap the start button. Then when you see a list of apps press and hold o one of them. You'll then see a - symbol. Touch this to close the app. Keep doing this until everything is closed. Then to be safe reboot the device. If you are still having issues after this its going to be tricky to work out as we have an iPad 2 with iOS6 that works fine so there must be something we don't know about causing the issue.

I have just download the app and It seems that works fine. I don't have any crash of the app in my iPad 2 IOS 6.

Yeah, tried that, and then deleted the whole app and reinstalled it. It seems that I will just have to get a refund, which is a shame. So - do I have to get that from iTunes Store or from Slitherine?

Before I do that, I'm going to try one more thing - a full restore!

Did a full restore and it seems to be working now! Yay <fingers crossed for it continuing>

Have I missed something? Is there an update we can now try and download?

The latest version is 2.0.1 which was released on 2 November.

The iPad update is available in the app store. Just use the check for updates button.

So far it seems to have fixed all the crashing issues which is great. Anyone still having problems, please try a system restore and then update and if you still have problems let us know.
