OH yeah..Macsen, use smaller passwords..I had to go back and write it down....Knowing about cliffs and horses, and spelling are NOT my long suits!!

As long as my horsies were uphill, I think they liked the cliffs better than your armoured hoplites did .

A mostly straightforward match with armies clashing. Not much to say.

No leaders died and no camps were looted.

Fed lost an IC and his camp.

I won initiative which was the major factor here an open plain would have prob meant a reversal in the result.

Fedem Classical Spartans 29/50 vs Tiavals Early Carthaginian 52/52

Spartans lost their camp. No commanders lost.
Spartans had an IC on the field and Carthaginians too (do not know if that matters).

Despite loosing Initiative we fought on an open terrain mostly.
The spartans avoided been outflanked by the Heavy Chariots and Cavalry and prooved to be deadly on hand to hand combat.

In an epic battle the Spartans of GrudgeBringer have suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of a lone Thracian called SPARTACUS!!!!!. Spartacus fought the entire Spartan army in a wood and put them all to flight. Or so the legend goes.....

macsen (Later Alexandrian Macedonian and Spartacus) 29/48 defeated GrudgeBringer (more bloody Spartans) 47/45.
