I pulled as many defenders as I could to the left most flag, closest to their initial entry point. There is a hedgerow on the bottom side of the hill there that keeps one side safe. There are trees on the other side that make entry from that side really difficult. So you have to take care of the left and right entry points (the dirt path), which is easily done because you have so many spots to ambush. I parked a couple of tanks inside the hedgerow, put infantry in the trees and let the other units that I couldn't move delay the german advance as best as they could. I initially lost the two flags on the right side, but got them back towards the end, after the german attack had stalled.

I did lose the ATG really quick but the infantry and the PIAT/Bazooka teams really pulled their weight from the trees. The tanks lasted until the end too, since they could not be shot at until someone actually got within a square, at which point they were blasted so hard that they retreated if they weren't suppressed. I used the mortar teams to keep a couple of stugs suppressed and they even took out a SdKfz.

This one would be a cruel but fun multiplayer scenario, I don't think its out there though.
I think I had to play it 2-3 times before getting lucky.
