I must admit, it looks like it from the picture but I think that's just the angle the photo was taken at.
I think if I remember correctly it was right on the limit of the flank zone.
cheers

Super-slick setup (much easier with no gamers doing table lugging in and out!), quick draws, easy results collation, slick (and swift) presentation at the end - lots of people I spoke to said the overall look and feel this year was very professional and all ran very smoothly and without a hitch. Pub quiz decent but after several years of the same format I suspect a lot of people have now come to the conclusion they prefer to eat properly at leats once over the weekend, and have decided to go for a night out in Manchester... especially as traffic problems on Friday on the M6 meant a lot of people arrived quite late so were playing right up until midnight on Friday. Most of the usual traders were there with a few notable absences - but I suppose that's inevitable when some traders are now shifting their business models towards entirely online sales, distribution (and even product formats)
Winners details are in other threads about "tournaments" - haven't you understood the way these forum things work ?

I was hoping to have the results by now. Unfortunately I haven't. So there is no link as yet.
The BHGS results page is up but I can't get it to work.
