Good news, seems to be working now. New version does a check to see if the tile is valid, artillery can swap but looses all AP, so no fire and no more swaps each turn. Added a message when the target tile/unit is not valid.

BTW, I was working on the new icons but still I haven't got them right.

V cool, thanks RF! New code works really nicely. I note you've included a greyed out icon and a "don't cheat!" warning, if players try to swap into forest or rough ground... Very wise! Hard to make anything foolproof (because fools are so ingenious! ;-)). Good luck with the icons... I'm sure they look perfect amigo.

update the icons for merge and swap, if you don't want to use one of the commands comment the line in the $DEFAULT.BSF file.
