"C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Spartan\SPARTAN.EXE\d3drm.dll"

what does it need to open as i made a change to what it open as i made the zip file open as spartan i don't know how to set it back to the default setting every time i download it
it still open as the spartan not what it is when i 1st downloaded it had gears in the little icon now it shows a spartan helmet i think i fucked up some how and i don't know how to set it back to the default

You may need to start again if you have broken it. Try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Copy the dll to C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Spartan\

Then run the exe. Its very simple - I cant see what could be going wrong. Mybe ask someone else to read this through so you make sure you are doing exactly what we have written in case there is a problem in teh translation.

when i copy the dll does it need to look like this

Yes it should be in the Spartan dir, the same place as the Spartan.exe - then run the Spartan.exe from the start menu or desktop shortcut.
