My advice in all periods is never never play against a real lawyer if you can possibly avoid it.....the post game traumatic distress counselling needed is more than any game is worth. My preferred solution - more numbers fewer words - but I doubt that works for tournament play... :D

OK, point taken. The authors are learning from all the possible interpretations we can think up for what the English language means. The authors must think that the only people that play FoG are lawyers. :)
Well there is a definiate culture that arises around tournament gamers from the UK. It was been fully imported into many other nations including the US. At times I have been tested positive for it.

The genius and the problem is to allow two different people to meet and play a competitive game with a common understanding of the rules. Add strong competitive motivation and intricate situatons and you need to poud out clarity.
