I've not been using the todo list as much as I would like, for some reason it keeps logging me out and it's a pain dredging up the pw every time. I should probably refill it!
I have a priority list that I will try and add - I'm waiting on the all clear for 2.0.5 currently so I can get going on new features!
Cheers
Pip

Oh - 1st pass mission scripting was doing scripting for missions on one of the new expansions we are working on. Richard is now going through them and seeing what he needs me to re-do!

I have updated the task list with the things (fingers crossed!) I will be able to get on with once we are happy 2.0.5 has no showstopper issues.

Great!!
Please, please, add one more for the poor editors workers: show the lists in order, alphabetical, or grouped by kind of units, tiles etc. and, with the same SiZe of text. This doesn't sound as a hard task.... and will help a lot creating maps.
Thanks

"Ditch" terrain type. There were many of these which could be used to slow down movement. Would be an "edge" overlay. If it is in the Editor already someone hand me my glasses please!

(and let me know which "set" it is in too)
Stream terrain type. This would be a passable type of water barrier for all types. Just a small bead of water that runs down the center of a tile.
Numerous vehicles that were either at Normandy or the Bulge. Jagdpanther V, Jagdpanzer IV. Variants of both the SDKFZ 251 and 10. Also an on board 75mm and 105 howitzer for the US. The former was used by the US airborne for instance. British have their 25 pdr - 75 mm was often involved in point blank encounters in the perimeter.
Finally, if possible to "sort" the units based on nationality in the unit list. They are all jumbled in the list. I am wanting to build a Squads file that is sorted by:
Nation:
Armor Types:
Tanks
SPG/SPA/TD/AG
Infantry types:
Core infantry
Specialist infantry (Engineers)
MGs
Mortars
Etc
Support Vehicles:
All half tracks and variants
Carriers:
Mainly used for just hauling infantry and weapons
Easier to locate the units if the Squads file is organized.

Snipers
See my separate post. A sniper unit(s) should be included. Snipers are an integral force multiplier of WW2. The accepted ambush:attacker ratio is 1:3. Snipers can and did change this ratio to 1:n with regard to attacker disruption (and kills), morale degradation and so on.

I believe that some infantry units gain a sniper ability one they are promoted all the way to Elite.
Organising the unit in the editor is on the task list.

One way to do it in the game is with a script. You could reduce the manpower in the unit I would think and the promote the unit to be a sniper. BUT a unique unit called Sniper would be BEST!

I think I might have made that in my Pacific campaigns.
