So did I. That was a very happy moment reading such a game as PG was would get a modern successor! :D

Well, what can I say ... if PG was great, PzC is fantastic! :D :D :D

Hmmm good question, I can't seem to remember. It was probably from the Slitherine site directly, as I already own FOG.

This is really interesting to hear - the more info we get on things like this the better!

I was getting ready to buy Steel Panthers World at War from Matrix Games when I saw that Panzer Corps had just been released. What a great game!

I think I heard it first mentioned at http://flashofsteel.com/. They have pretty good discussions about strategy games there.

Completely accidentally came across a review made by someone on a different gaming forum. It had pictures included and I thought it looks quite nice. I even thought it has 3d units like PG2 at first sight. :D Other users had posted links to the game so I was able to find it quickly. Which was actually rather useful since it appears that Panzer Corps does not have a page on wikipedia btw.

At JP's Panzers. Followed Rudankort's work on PGF and when he went mia there rumors began regarding Panzer Corps.

I read about PzC first on wargaming.com; they ran a (very early) preview of the game and I knew immediately I'd found "the One." LOL

Read about it first in the German magazine "Gamestar". Got a call from my elder brother some days before though, he basically collects and plays every turn-based strategy game there is. He was really psyched (and for good reason :D) when finding out about PzC. I guess in one of the forums he frequents, maybe over at Matrix games?

I actually found Panzer Corps on a Piracy list; Downloaded it, played it and bought it the next day.

This is a game that is worth owing - a shame that the hard drive I saved it on now has read errors...

I got an email from Matrix games and instead of deleting it (like I usually do since I get so much email), I luckily looked through it while I was bored at work.

As soon as I saw it compared to Panzer General, I knew I had to have it.

I have since told my friend Neil about it (he said PG got him through law school) and another friend Frank (who loved PG and is going to buy it when he gets back from vacation).

Thx
