Good battle. Both right wings victorious, but Roman veterans plus allies inflicted more damage and looted camp.

The first result flatters the Romans who benefitted greatly from the Carthaginian centre collapsing in one turn. The second battle was really tough and looked like a Roman win at one stage, when the Carthaginian flanking mediums left their steep hills and came a cropper against the enemy heavies, but the Carthaginians helped by a strong cavalry wing eventually triumphed in the central infantry struggle.
