Why not become a beta tester and try the latest version? I have almost forgotten how GS v2.0 is.

In the thread about industrial transfer Stauffenberg claimed that no major changes are planned in post-2.1 versions.

Ah, must've missed that one. You should take up his proposal of betatesting though. More the merrier.

I'll stick my neck out and answer for Borger: Unless he's changed his ways, he grinds them to death. Using sound tactics and making the most of the German advantages, he makes it his objective to simply destroy--not weaken, but completely eliminate--as many enemy units per turn as possible without taking unacceptable losses himself. If you look at the strategy guides, Herr Stauffenberg advises that if you can eliminate enough enemy units per turn they simply cannot maintain a defensive front and will be forced to withdraw.

Now, with so many Soviet players choosing to simply flee East and avoid engagements, I'm not sure what Borger's response to that is.

What i just found in the game is:

1) Germany before DoW to Poland is already in war with England and France....
How was in reality everyone knows.
If is opposite, such solution could give german player more freedom in strategic decisions???
Instead of attacking Poland in september, axis player can wait and build up his forces, attack minor countries like denmnark and holland....???

2) France and England joins Poland on 3rd of September, and THEN mobilisation started in those countries.
What i think, France should have full strenght Maginot Line units and the rest of the army at "peace level", so with lowered strength.
Britain as well started mobilisation of land forces only with ready Navy and partialy Air Force.

3) Garrisons in colonies of France and England should be with lowered strength to show their chracter as a "police force" not a combat units.
In such cases Allied player will spend more time, efforts and PP to bring armies to full strength instead of building triple or double defensive line in northern France.

4) What about "time" issue in the game: maybe a better option is to make one round- two weeks time???
Biulding time of the units should be made longer to fit two weeks turns????
