Operating - you posted 4 messages advertising another game with no relevance to anything here at Slitherine. They have been deleted and if you persists you'll be banned. We don't mind discussions of other games but this is not acceptable.

Sirs;
I did not realize there was restriction from making posts on your website. I discovered your website as a result of a LINK
on NSDs' website to yours, which resulted in my buying three games, the latest being "Commander NEPOLEON AT wAR", also "Guns of August" & "War between the States"all purchased at NWS gaming store. I have been a fan of "Take Command 2 Manassas" {which I bought three copies of} a very entertaining game. NSD does not have a game for sale that I know of as of now,{ thus, not a threat to anybody}, if they did I would buy it.
On your website I see ANNOUNCEMENTS & NEWS, I took it upon myself to release the NEWS of NSDs' development, nobody prompted me to do so, I felt that it was something that I should share with my fellow website members, as well as I would like them to share information with me. I believed we lived in a Democratic society which allows free speech.
I would make a suggestion that you open a LINK page on your website and be user friendly.
Sincerly yours, Operating

Posting in a thread to which it had some relevance would have probably been acceptable. If you look you'll see that there are many instances of people recommending other games. But cross-posting into 3 other forums is pretty much just spamming. There isn't a game website in the world where that would be OK.
Cheers
Pip

Thanks for the advice, I learned something new today, I've never posted before, did not realize it would ruffle any feathers.

I'll keep deleting your posts if you keep posting such remarks operating. I'm also locking this thread.
